ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The selected candidate will contribute to the planning, coordination, and execution of projects while ensuring compliance with standards, internal procedures, and quality, health, and safety requirements.

  • Lead the planning and execution of projects.
  • Define and manage project scope, objectives, deliverables, and schedules.
  • Establish the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and resource requirements.
  • Manage and monitor project budgets.
  • Plan, track, and control project timelines and deliverables.
  • Ensure implementation and maintenance of quality assurance plans throughout project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards, as per company policies, client requirements, and CNESST regulations.
  • Monitor project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Prepare and draft project progress reports.
  • Manage project change requests and coordinate required interventions.
  • Approve payments to subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Oversee technical follow-ups (technical sheets, inspections, claims, and warranties).
  • Implement and maintain project documentation structure and coordinate preparation of closeout documents and manuals.
  • Support and collaborate with the project team throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Perform any other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIFIC SKILLS

Education / Experience / Certification

  • University degree in civil engineering, construction, or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience; or
  • College diploma (DEC) with a minimum of 5 years of experience; or
  • Vocational diploma (DEP) with more than 7 years of experience;
  • Experience in the construction industry (required).
  • Excellent command of spoken and written French.
  • Good command of spoken and written English (an asset).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Knowledge of project planning and cost control.
