Your mission
Prepare complete and accurate estimates by analyzing the technical requirements, costs and specific features of each project. Working with internal teams, suppliers and subcontractors, you will help deliver competitive solutions tailored to our clients’ needs.
What you’ll do
Review drawings, specifications, addenda and tender documents.
Perform quantity takeoffs and assess material, equipment and labour requirements.
Request quotes from suppliers and subcontractors, then compare the proposals received.
Establish project costs, taking into account construction methods, schedules and site constraints.
Identify risks, exclusions and items requiring clarification.
Propose technical solutions and optimization opportunities.
Prepare and finalize bids in line with submission deadlines.
Take part in handing over awarded projects to the project management team.
What will help you succeed
A minimum of five years of experience in electrical estimating.
Relevant experience in the industrial, commercial and institutional sectors.
Strong spoken and written English.
Solid ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
Good knowledge of electrical materials, equipment and installation methods.
Comfort with computer tools and estimating software.
Thoroughness, strong analytical skills and excellent organization.
Ability to manage multiple files and meet tight deadlines.
A collaborative mindset and ease communicating with various stakeholders.
